Well built and sturdy
This stand is VERY sturdy and works great for tall trees. The 4 legs, removable for storage, have a 6 foot span which provides the broad base of support you need. The large reservoir holds a generous amount of water, and the bolts held the tree securely. We kind of choked at the price, but since we just bought a house with 25 foot ceilings we're looking at it as an investment.
Works like a charm
For years, we've struggled to get our 16 foot tree up and steady. We've usually had to tie it off to the banister to make sure it didn't fall down. Yes, this stand is expensive. But it got the tree up this year first time with no problems and no need to tie it off.
Tough
Took a while to come, thanks FedEx, but this thing is a brute. You can't bust it if you tried. Don't lose the legs. Other than that, it's like they say. Last one you'll ever buy.
Outstanding
Well worth the money! We had a 16 foot plus tree this year and it was rock steady in this stand. Very sturdy and very safe. We highly recommend this stand to the Clark W. Griswolds of the world.
The stability is fantastic
Install the bowl while the tree is on the ground so you can get the hole drilled and the bowl nicely centered and the clamps tight. Then get the tree upright and add the 4 extensions and tighten them down. Once it is up you can adjust the straightness of the tree by loosening and tightening the 4 clamps until it's exactly where you want it. Expensive but worth it.
Ours has lasted 15 years and counting
Durable, leak proof, sturdy, easy to use. Your tree will never tip over and it holds lots of water, so you do not have to keep worrying whether the tree is getting enough. We've had ours for 15 plus years and our children are already fighting over who will inherit it.
Amazing quality
It held our 16 to 17 foot tree, no problem! We have battled with stands in the past that would not hold our trees without a strap tying them to the wall. This year all we needed was this stand.
Last stand you will ever buy
They mean it. I put a 15 foot Fraser in it every year with a huge trunk and it stands straight up without being tied and with no worries of it ever tipping over. Holds 4 gallons of water! Huge investment, but I no longer have to worry if my tree will fall over.
The best tree stand there is
This stand is well thought out, very strong and safe. Consider it an investment. Year after year when I put the tree up I am always very happy that I made it. If you have big Christmas trees you need this stand. You won't regret it.
Quality stand for large trees
After our 14 foot tree broke 2 stands, we decided a quality stand was worth it. The price was more than we expected, $350 compared to the $30 stands that broke, but it fit our 10 inch trunk and still held 4 gallons of water, which we refilled once a day instead of 3 times. We never felt any risk of the tree falling over.
Great purchase
Great stability for our almost 16 foot tree! After having some trees fall over after they were decorated, we're excited to have a stand with such stability.
A secure tree stand
If you are looking for a safe and sturdy Christmas tree stand, I would recommend this one. I have owned many stands that had to be replaced. My next tree will be 20 feet tall and on my deck, and I know this will do the job.
Letters and emails
After spending 2 hours last year putting up our tree, we had the tree up in 20 minutes and looked at each other like, is that it? It was worth every penny I paid for it.
